this is a place for reading and writing
Welcome to Tamale Road, a place for reading and writing depending on what your doing. This is my first adventure in Web Pages and the site is still under construction. I have posted a couple of stories that I like. They dont have endings yet..but will in time. If you want to post something or make a comment or give me a clue on how to finish these stories then you can email me at [email protected], and as with everything else in my life I take responsibility for nothing so post me your story at your own risk. These stories can be politically incorrect so this is your only warning.
Miller in Love? by Big Ed
Miller slipped the dark blue tee-shirt over his head, smoothing out the big red "S" on his chest. "Today will be different." "Today I will not lust after Emmy the retarded girl!" he muttered to himself. Then again, "Today I will not lust after Emmy the retarded girl", this time with a little more forthrightness. Belting his jeans tight and slipping on his deck shoes, he stepped into the bright London sunshine breathing deeply the mixture of auto exhaust and fresh air and immediately began to think of Emmy the retarded girl.
Emmy the retarded girl of course wasn’t her proper name. It was Emmaline as attested to by her plastic name tag, although Miller did not know her last name he was sure it was something sad and romantic and possibly French, although she didn’t actually strike him as French. He had been lusting after her for about two weeks now and was finding the guilt of lusting for a retard was consuming him with unaccustomed guilt. Much worse than the guilt he felt when he was lusting after his Aunt Sylvia after briefly glimpsing the top of her bra when he was 17 and she was 38. (continued pg3)
The Tale of the Cube
Chewey Espinoza found the onyx colored cube, the size of a mans palm, in a market in downtown San Juan Mexico during the hot Summer of 1996. It had caught his experienced grey eye as something he could sell for much more than the 2 US Dollars it was going for here in this market. Gringos loved junk like this. This shiny black paperweight should go for about 10 US Dollars at the Market in San Antonio he thought to himself. Three weeks later, the cube sold for exactly 10 US Dollars in San Antonio.
Angelica Fuentes placed her new black square paperweight carefully on the coffee table. She admired it for a moment, then promptly got on with the business of her dolls. She usually went to the El Mercado to look for dolls, especially Clown Dolls (lately). She had a collection of over 400 dolls in her 3 bedroom house. Her late husband Antonio,(God rest his soul, make the sign of the cross) hated her dolls and never missed the opportunity to tell her she was crazy for collecting them and that they were downright creepy. He had gone to heaven to be with his Mama (God rest her soul, make the sign of the cross) three years ago Easter. She could was now free to have all the dolls she wanted and her collection was growing rapidly. (continued pg 2)
